Beef Shares


Quarter Share - 100lbs of beef - $1500 (20% discount)

Half Share - 200lbs of beef - $2850 (25% discount)

Whole Share - 400lbs of beef - $5400 (30% discount)

Purchase a beef share or box that includes: rib eye steak, rib steak, T-bone steak, tri-tip roast, rump cap, round, shank, short plate, flank steak, short plate primal, shank meat, flank, brisket, brisket cut, foreshank, and beef chuck.

HOW IT WORKS:

  1. Select a Share Size and Pick-Up week.

  2. Place a deposit to hold your share.

  3. Pick-up your share at Closter Farm & Livestock Co. anytime from 9am - 6pm of your selected week.

Frequently Asked (Questions) Answers:

-Generally, a Quarter Share will come out to ~$1500 (20% discount off retail), a half share will come out to ~$2800 (25% discount), and a whole share will come out to ~$5500 (30% discount).

-A Quarter share is roughly 100 pounds, a Half share is 200 pounds, and a Whole is 400 pounds.

-Yes, we do offer some amount of customization for all shares:

  • All Share sizes can request NY Strip and Filet OR Porterhouse and T-bone (when available), bone-in rib-eye OR Delmonico (boneless), flanken/kalbi OR classic cut short ribs.

  • Half and Whole Share sizes may request additional customization. Please send us an email and we will work with you to create the perfect Share for you and your family.

-All beef are 100% grass-fed and finished on certified Organic pasture in the Catskill region of NY on our sister farm, Catskill Farm & Livestock Co. or from another NY farm in the same region with the same practices.

-You will need 4 cu ft of freezer space PER Quarter Share (Example: a Half Share needs 8 cu ft and a Whole Share will require 16 cu ft).

-We ACCEPT EBT for all beef shares, however we are unable to offer the Good Food Bucks matching discount.
