BEEF SHARES

We offer beef shares in 3 sizes - Whole Steer, Half Steer, or Quarter Steer.

Our cattle are raised in the Catskills of New York and are grass fed & grass finished for a wonderfully rich and “real” beef flavor. Our cattle are in Organic transition, with USDA Organic certification coming soon! Rest assured we use organic practices now and they are never grain fed.

What makes grass-fed & grass-finished so amazing?

Grass-fed & finished means the animals have been only given pasture their entire lives. Grain-finished animals are offered grain for the last 20% of their lives, which bulks them up and creates a more marbled meat.

Grass-finished tends to be leaner, takes longer, and reflects the land it comes from. We don’t rush the process, ensuring we get the tender, flavorful beef our customers look for.

Final weight and cost is determined during packing as each animal differs slightly.
